Reorganization of the Institutional Participation and Oversight Service

The Department of Education (ED) recently issued a Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) which announces the staffing of the Institutional Improvement Specialist position for each Case Management Team in the Institutional Participation and Oversight Service. ED issued a DCL (GEN-97-5, see UHEAA Bulletin Vol. 97 - Issue 53) in June, 1997 announcing the reorganization of the Case Management Teams. The Institutional Improvement Specialists will provide technical assistance and training to institutions participating in the Title IV program. This DCL includes a list of the Area Case Directors and the Institutional Improvement Specialists for each Case Management team.
