Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Concerning Institutional
Eligibility and Student Assistance General Provisions
The Department of Education (ED) recently released a notice of proposed rulemaking, dated July 15, 1999, regarding institutional eligibility for and participation in the Title IV programs. The proposed regulations incorporate provisions contained in the recent reauthorization of the Higher Education Act (HEA). The proposed regulatory changes impact the following sections of 34 CFR:
