Education Loan Program Final Regulations
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) recently published a Federal Register, dated October 25, 1999, containing final regulations regarding deferment provisions of the Federal Perkins Loan Program and the Federal Family Education Loan Program. These regulations contain provisions originally proposed in a Federal Register dated September 17, 1998. The regulatory changes impact the following sections of 34 CFR:
