2001-2002 EDESuite Software

    The U.S. Department of Education (ED) recently published an Action Letter, GEN-00-19, providing information about changes and enhancements to the 2001-2002 EDESuite software, which includes EDExpress modules.  A document providing a summary of these changes is provided as an enclosure to the letter.  This Action Letter, the first in a series of three, explains the changes ED has made to the application delivery system for the 2001-2002 award year.  The second Action Letter will cover changes to the Center Processing System (CPS), the paper FAFSA and Renewal FAFSA, the Student Aid Report (SAR), and the Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR).  The third Action Letter will describe changes to FAFSA on the Web, Renewal FAFSA on the Web, Corrections on the Web, PIN requests, FAFSA Express, and details concerning ED's newest electronic product: Spanish FAFSA on the Web.
