Final Drug Worksheet for Question 35
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) recently released a Dear Partner Letter, GEN-00-23, announcing that the final drug worksheet titled "Worksheet for Question 35" is now available on ED's website at http://ifap.ed.gov, by clicking on "Current SFA Publications" and then "Drug Worksheets." The worksheet explains the three codes that students use when answering question 35 and defines an acceptable drug rehabilitation program. Students who require help in answering question 35 may call 1-800-4FED-AID (1-800-433-3243). Students who complete the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on ED's website at www.fafsa.ed.gov may use an interactive questionnaire that determines the FAFSA answer for them. "Worksheet for Question 35" is also provided as an attachment to GEN-00-23 as a PDF file. Students who answer question 35 "yes" or leave it blank will receive a "Worksheet for Question 35" with their student Aid Report (SAR).
