Utah College Calculators on the Web
Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA)
is pleased to announce the availability of online financial aid calculators
on UHEAA's web site at http://www.uheaa.org/.
The Utah College Calculators are valuable tools for planning how to pay
for college. The calculators allow families to estimate college costs,
determine what financial aid might be available, and calculate payments
for future educational loans. The following Utah College Aid Calculators
are available.
Utah Online Interactive College Aid Calculator (CAC):
- Estimates family contribution for high school students or students already in college.
- Facilitates planning for college financial aid.
Utah Online Interactive Early College-Cost Estimator (ECCE):
- Estimates future college costs for families with children of any age.
- Demonstrates the effects of saving for college.
Utah Download College Aid Calculator (CAC):
- Allows the software program to be downloaded to your computer for saving and updating.
- Provides access to the concise, detailed electronic book, Guide to College Financial Aid.
There is no charge for using the Calculators. They are available
to anyone who wants to use them. We encourage you to invite students
and their parents to take advantage of them. [Please mention these Calculators
when visiting with high school counselors or other professionals who work
with students.] Parents and high school students attending "College
Night" or "Financial Aid Night" presentations will want to know about them.
Dependent and independent students already attending college will also
find the Calculators very helpful as they plan for the next academic year.
Our intent is to provide tools, such as the Calculators, that will encourage
and facilitate planning for college and applying for financial aid.
