Changes to the 2002-03 Renewal FAFSA Process

    The U.S. Department of Education (ED) recently released an Action Letter, GEN-01-10, concerning the major changes to the Renewal Free Application for Federal Student Aid (Renewal FAFSA) process for the 2002-2003 award year.  This Action Letter provides a summary of these major changes; a schedule of important dates; and specific procedures for the Renewal FAFSA options available to schools for 2002-2003.  GEN-01-10 also includes procedures and tips for using SFA's FAA Access on the website and record layouts for Type 2 PIN request files.
