Economic Hardship Deferment Form Updated

The U. S. Department of Education has released an updated Economic Hardship Deferment Request form which uses the new 2005 Health and Human Services Poverty Guideline amounts.  This form and the dollar amounts reflected on it are effective February 18, 2005. Supplies of previous versions of the Economic Hardship Deferment form should be discarded and only the new form be provided to borrowers seeking a deferment because of circumstances which cause an economic hardship.  The new form is attached and is also available on the Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority’s (UHEAA) Web site at www.uheaa.org.
