Bank One and Chase Merger

Following the merger of Bank One and Chase, Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority has received instructions regarding the official names to be used on UHEAA publications and in executing FFELP loans. “Chase (formerly Bank One)” will appear on UHEAA brochures and in the list of partner lenders. Schools are encouraged to change their preferred lender lists to include this same name.

On the Master Promissory Note and in the lender identification drop-down box found in the Electronic Signature process, the name will be “Bank One Education Finance Corp (Chase).” The lender identification number remains the same, #819628.
