UHEAA Holiday Schedule for the Year 2006

The Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) offices will be closed in observance of the following holidays during 2006.

HOLIDAY DAYS CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF HOLIDAY

New Year’s Day Monday, January 2, 2006

Human Rights Day Monday, January 16, 2006

Presidents’ Day Monday, February 20, 2006

Memorial Day Monday, May 29, 2006

Independence Day Tuesday, July 4, 2006

Pioneer Day Monday, July 24, 2006

Labor Day  Monday, September 4, 2006

Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, November 23 & 24, 2006

Christmas Monday, December 25, 2006

Please consider these holidays when scheduling transactions which require UHEAA’s participation. In addition to the dates listed above, disbursements will not be made on Columbus Day, October 9 th. Since Veterans’ Day falls on a Saturday next year, banks may be closed on Friday November 10 th. Due to the uncertainty at this time of the availability of disbursements on November 10, 2006, schools should not plan to receive disbursements on that date. If information becomes available from lenders indicating they will be open for regular business on that date another UHEAA Bulletin will be sent to so notify schools.
