2006-2007 EFC Formula Guide Available

The U.S. Department of Education has announced the posting the 2006-2007 EFC Formula Guide, which includes Expected Family Contribution (EFC) worksheets and tables for the 2006-2007 processing cycle. (See this announcement at: http://ifap.ed.gov/eannouncements/1220EFCNetworkMessage0607.html)

The worksheets and tables in this guide can be used to calculate an estimated EFC for students. The methodology for determining the EFC is found in Part F of Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA).
