UHEAA Holiday Schedule for 2007

The Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) offices will be closed in observance of the following holidays in 2007.

            New Years Day                       Monday, January 1
            Martin Luther King Jr. Day       Monday, January 15
            Presidents Day                         Monday, February 19
            Memorial Day                          Monday, May 28
            Independence Day                   Wednesday, July 4
            Pioneer Day                             Tuesday, July 24
            Labor Day                                Monday, September 3
            Thanksgiving Day                     Thursday, November 22
            Day After Thanksgiving             Friday, November 23
            Christmas Day                          Tuesday, December 25

Please consider these holidays when scheduling transactions which require UHEAA’s participation.  In addition to the dates listed above, disbursements will not be made on October 8th in observance of Columbus Day.  Since Veterans Day falls on a Sunday next year, banks may be closed on Monday, November 12th. Due to the uncertainty at this time of the availability of disbursements on November 12, 2007, schools should not plan to receive disbursements on that date.  If information becomes available from lenders indicating they will be open for regular business on that date another UHEAA Bulletin will be sent to so notify schools.
