Federal Student Aid Internet Briefings

Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority issues this reminder that Federal Student Aid Policy Liaison and Implementation staff will conduct two live internet briefings.

The first briefing will be presented Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm Mountain Time.  It will cover changes made to the Higher Education Act by the College Cost Reduction and Access Act (CCRAA).

The second briefing will be conducted Wednesday, December 12, 2007 also from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm Mountain Time.  An overview will be provided of the recently published final rules covering the Student Assistance General Provisions regulations, the Academic Competitiveness Grants (ACG) and National SMART Grant regulations, and the Federal student loan regulations.
