Parking Guide for UHEAA at the Board of Regents Building at the Gateway
For convenience, Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority is providing the attached parking guide for the Board of Regents Building at the Gateway. Light rail construction plans have been finalized. TRAX is being expanded to connect the South Temple “Arena” stop to the intermodal hub on 600 West. Construction has begun, going south down 400 West in front of the Board of Regents Building. Northbound and southbound traffic on 400 West has been reduced to one lane each direction, complicating access to parking.
Anyone traveling to UHEAA at the Board of Regents Building is advised to enter Winter Parking from 100 South, rather than 400 West. The recommendation is to approach Gateway using 500 West, then turn east on 100 South. The entrance to Winter Parking is located at approximately the middle of the block.
At the entrance, a ticket (to be validated at the reception desk) can be obtained by pushing the button. Parking is available on each of five parking levels, P-1 through P-5. Any available parking space may be used, unless it is otherwise marked. UHEAA is accessed through the doors to Two Gateway Office Center. The signs read “Office Building Access Only.” The main lobby and receptionists are located on P-3, and are easily reached using the elevators from the other parking levels.
