Change of Address for School Loan Cancellations and Refunds

Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority announces a change in the address to which schools are to return post-disbursement loan funds.  The new address is P.O. Box 145103, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-5103.  Schools sending cancellation and refund payments by check should use this P.O Box address, which is assigned only for the return of such payments.

Attached is a “Return of Loan Funds” form which may be used when sending a check to UHEAA.  It contains the new address.  Use of the form is optional.  Many schools attach alternative documentation to the check(s) being returned.  Other institutions choose to return funds electronically, including through ACH.

Use of this address should result in streamlined processing of the checks which will now go directly to Accounting.  Non-monetary cancellations should not be mailed to this address.
