Mountain High Credit Union Leaves FFEL Program

Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority has been informed by Mountain High Credit Union (MHCU) that it will be leaving the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). 

Effective June 1, 2008 MHCU will no longer accept new applications for FFELP student loans.  Any current FFELP loans not fully disbursed will be funded by MHCU and disbursed as scheduled.  MHCU’s last anticipated disbursement date is October 17, 2008.

Students interested in requesting MHCU must select another lender.  For a list of current partner lenders please refer to UHEAA’s Web site at:  http://www.uheaa.org/schoolsLending02.html.
