Chase to Discontinue FFELP Student Loan Originations with UHEAA
Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) has been notified that effective June 6, 2008, Chase will not originate Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) loans through UHEAA for the 2008-09 academic year.
This does not affect current Chase-UHEAA FFELP loans that have not been fully disbursed. They will be funded by Chase and disbursed as scheduled, with the last anticipated disbursement on January 19, 2009.
Students interested in requesting a FFELP loan through the UHEAA systems must select another lender. For a list of current partner lenders please refer to UHEAA’s Web site at: http://www.uheaa.org/schoolsLending02.html.
