FY 2006 Draft Cohort Default Rates To Be Released
Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority posts this reminder that FY 2006 Draft Cohort Default Rates will be released on Monday, February 11, 2008, to all eligible schools. Federal Student Aid indicated that all domestic schools will receive their notification electronically via their SAIG mailbox. Foreign Schools will receive their notification package through the U.S. Postal Service.
Federal Student Aid also announced the availability of the electronic Cohort Default Rate Appeals process (eCDR Appeals). Beginning with the FY 2006 draft cohort default rate to be issued on February 11, schools will have the option of submitting and processing certain CDR challenge and adjustment requests via eCDR Appeals, a web-based application. The announcement of the electronic cohort default rate appeals process can be found at http://ifap.ed.gov/eannouncements/012408IFAPeCDRAppealsnoticeJan08draft.html.
UHEAA notes the timeframes for submitting CDR challenges. For domestic schools, the 45-day timeline to submit their CDR data begins on February 20, 2008, and ends on April 4, 2008. Appeals of draft cohort default rates cannot be accepted after April 4, 2008.
